Welcome to the Wireless Intelligent Systems Laboratory, headed by Professor Stephen Wicker. Our focus is in the field of wireless networks, including both traditional wireless cellular networks as well as ad-hoc networks. Our research includes such diverse topics as swarm intelligence, game theory, and small worlds. We are also interested in capitalizing on cross-layer designs, between the physical, medium access, and routing layers of a network.
